Spanish Coast / Grenada

Blanche et Pascal

Ahoy readers – today I will take you on a Seaman’s journey far away

In the Mediterranean the premier equipage of the Crazy Flavour follows an ancient way

In the footsteps of explorers like Columbus and Magellan we are

Along the cost of France and Spain until the street of Gibraltar

We adapted our rhythm to the Spanish way

We sail through the night and sleep at day

But Spanish siesta time can also be used for beauty reasons

The manicure studio of Blanche and Fabienne is open any seasons

Next day we look for adventures in the mountains of the Sierra Nevada

In a valley hidden well we find the city of Granada

Here we feel the Arabian and Western culture combined

As we visit the palace of Alhambra with its garden and architecture well aligned

Meanwhile, on the boat Olivier shows his engineering talent

Like geo trouve tout, he fixes all the equipment

Well prepared we leave Motril and hoist the sail

Big waves, rough sea – Fabienne and Blanche do yoga on board anyway

Now the city of Malaga is in close sight

Restaurant recommendations are ready and the pare-battages we hold tight

Back from siesta the harbor master finally answers his phone:

“sorry, we have no place for you; tomorrow is el día de la constitucion

In a fierce team such change of plans bothers none

Some hours later we approach Gibraltar’s famous Mount Toblerone

Before the marina we take down the main sail under maximal speed

Not an easy task, but as a team we succeed

In the bay of Alcaidesa we find a place between peers

We drop the anchor and have no orcas to fear

Happy but exhausted we finally go to sleep

We will carry the events of these days in us deep
